That’s important to you because only licensed movers are held to a certain level of standards and offer pricing and practices that are completely regulated by the authorities. In fact, although they do exist, it is illegal to operate a moving and storage business without a license. Most state and federal licensing authorities also keep complaint records and are a good source for consumers to use in checking on a company’s track record.

What is General Liability insurance and why is it important that Manor has it?

General liability insurance provides important coverage for damages incurred by our crew and/or to your premises while performing the move. Most buildings owners and managers in NYC will understandably want to see a certificate of General Liability insurance before any mover can operate on the premises.
